Supervisor Janice Hahn Issues Statement on Monterey Park Mass Shooting
Los Angeles, CA — Chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Janice Hahn has released the following statement regarding the mass shooting at a Lunar New Year event in Monterey Park where 10 people were shot and killed and many more were injured. The gunman remains at large.
“I am shocked and heartsick over the news of the mass shooting in Monterey Park at that community’s Lunar New Year celebration and my prayers are with the victims and their families. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors offers our full support to Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna as his department works to bring the suspected gunman into custody.
