The County of Los Angeles Charter Bus Service provides free or subsidized transit services to groups that request transportation to recreational, educational, cultural, special events; special-user group service; and social service. Members of the general public may join a charter bus trip scheduled by a group, subject to space limitations. In addition, charter bus trips may be limited to certain age groups or persons with disabilities but are available to members of the general public within that designated user group. Each group must be based within Supervisorial District 4 and will be allotted 2 trips per year.

Bus availability is on a first come first serve basis. Requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance of the trip date. Once the trip request is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Office of Supervisor Hahn. If approved, your trip request will be forwarded to the Department of Public Works, who will then assign your trip to a bus company. Groups must contact the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (PW) at (888) 524-6287 to cancel a trip at least 48-hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
