Hahn Condemns ICE Agents for Breaking Long Beach Man’s Arm
October 19, 2026
San Pedro, CA — Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn is speaking out after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were shown pinning a man down in the street in North Long Beach, tasing him, and breaking his arm. The man, Ricardo Gonzalez, is reported to be a U.S. citizen and was later taken to a hospital by Long Beach Police for serious injuries.
“I’m horrified and angry. This is thuggish behavior, plain and simple. ICE agents are brutalizing immigrants and US citizens alike. They ran a man down with their car, pinned him to the ground, and broke his arm. This is not law enforcement. These ICE agents are undertrained and abusive and they must be withdrawn from LA County and every American city.”
