Supervisor Hahn Releases Statement on Beating of 15-Year-Old Evan Jimenez

San Pedro, CA — Today, Supervisor Janice Hahn released the following statement regarding the brutal beating of San Pedro High student Evan Jimenez:

“I join the San Pedro community in praying for the recovery of SPHS student Evan Jimenez who was attacked and brutally beaten in San Pedro late Thursday night. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies are working to identify the two men suspected in the attack. This crime was barbaric and cruel and I will do everything in my power to assist the Sheriff’s Department in bringing those responsible to justice. As a mother and grandmother, my heart goes out to Evan’s family during this difficult time.”
