Hahn Releases Statement After Little Lake City School District and Teachers Reach Tentative Deal

April 30, 2026

San Pedro, CA – Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn released the following statement after the Little Lake City School District and the union representing teachers reached a tentative deal that has reopened classrooms and ended the 10-day strike.

“I appreciate both sides staying at the table to reach this agreement. Congratulations to the teachers who had the courage to stand up for themselves and for their students and were able to stay strong and united during this historic strike. I know they are grateful to be back in the classrooms with their students.”
