Hahn Celebrates Re-opening of Huntington Park Fire Station 11 months after Severe Fire Damage
The station—which serves Huntington Park, Walnut Park, and other surrounding communities across Southeast Los Angeles—has been extensively refurbished by the County’s Internal Services Department since it was severely damaged and nearly destroyed by a fire last year.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a motion authored by Supervisor Janice Hahn and co-authored by Supervisor Hilda L. Solis to create a plan for the proposed Southeast Los Angeles (SELA) Cultural Center.
