Press Conference: Hahn, Long Beach PD Ask Public’s Help Finding Drivers in Fatal Hit-and-Run

San Pedro, CA– This Wednesday, March 21, Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, Long Beach Police Department officials, and the Micek family will hold a press conference to ask the public’s help in identifying the drivers of two vehicles involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed 24-year-old San Pedro resident Cole Micek. Micek was found along the Terminal Island Freeway at Pier A Way early the morning of March 3 and pronounced dead at the scene.

Supervisor Hahn has requested that her colleagues on the Board of Supervisors approve a $25,000 reward for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the drivers.

Long Beach Police Department officials will discuss the details of the case, the suspected vehicles, and answer media questions.
