Supervisor Hahn Releases Statement Opposing Shutting Down Outdoor Dining

San Pedro, CA — Today, Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn released a statement opposing the decision to shut down outdoor dining for three weeks in response to a growing number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. Hahn coauthored a motion with Supervisor Kathryn Barger to allow outdoor dining to continue at 50% capacity. The motion failed with a 2-3 vote.

Hahn Takes Action to Preserve, Electrify Silver Line to San Pedro



San Pedro, CA — Today, the Metro Board of Directors Planning and Programming Committee approved a motion authored by LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn to preserve the Silver Line from Downtown Los Angeles to San Pedro and ensure the buses along this route will be electric buses. The motion was co-authored by Mayor Eric Garcetti, Supervisor Hilda Solis, Los Angeles Councilman Mike Bonin, and Inglewood Mayor James Butts and will move to the full board for approval.

Supervisor Hahn Takes Steps to Protect Skilled Nursing Facility Patients Right to Vote

Los Angeles, CA — Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn is concerned that public health measures to protect residents of Skilled Nursing Facilities from COVID-19 may prevent them from being able to vote in the upcoming election.
