Hahn Issues Statement in Response to SCOTUS Decision Allowing Racial Profiling by Federal Agents

Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn issued the following statement in response to today’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to stay the Temporary Restraining Order that blocked federal agents from racially profiling residents based on skin color, accent, language spoken, and/or place of work.

“I really thought that race-based arrests would have been the red line for this Supreme Court – but apparently my already low-bar for this SCOTUS was still too high.”
