Supervisor Hahn to Reopen New and Improved Marina Beach

Marina del Rey, CA– This Thursday, Supervisor Hahn will cut the ribbon to reopen the new and improved Marina Beach. The beach has been under construction since Fall 2017 and has undergone extensive remodeling.  Members of the media and the public are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and stay for Beach Eats– a weekly event at Marina Beach featuring food trucks and live music.

“Marina Beach is back and better than ever!” said Supervisor Janice Hahn. “This is the first facelift Marina Beach has gotten in over 50 years and it was worth the wait. I hope you and your family can come to Beach Eats this Thursday to check out the upgrades and enjoy food trucks and live music.”

The new facilities include remodeled bathrooms, beautiful contemporary picnic shelters, new barbecue grills, new picnic tables and benches, new landscaping, and a completely new and repaved promenade. Learn more about the project here.
