Supervisor Hahn Swears In New Arts Commission President, Eric Eisenberg

Los Angeles, CA—Today, Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn administered the oath of office to incoming LA County Arts Commission President Eric Eisenberg.  Eisenberg was Supervisor Hahn’s first appointment to the commission.

“Eric was one of my first commission appointments after I was sworn into office,” said Supervisor Janice Hahn. “He has such a passion for the arts and is so clearly committed to making art accessible in our communities. He recognizes the potential of community art not just to beautify an area, but bring people closer together, inject pride in a neighborhood, and help a community thrive.  He was an obvious choice for this commission and I look forward to seeing what he can accomplish at the helm.”

Eric Eisenberg served as the President of the San Pedro Historic Waterfront Business Improvement District and produced arts and cultural events across the Harbor Area. He continues to promote the now-thriving San Pedro Arts District.

President of the Arts Commission is a rotating position. Eric Eisenberg’s term as President will last one year.
