Supervisor Hahn and Board Extend Reward to Find Diamond Bar Couple’s Murderer
Los Angeles, CA- Today, Supervisor Janice Hahn and her colleagues on the Board of Supervisors voted to extend a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the murderer who stabbed David Cheng Wang and Marian Mei Chung to death last October. The reward was originally set to expire May 14. Supervisor Hahn recommended the reward be extended for 90 days.
Marian Mei Chung and her husband David Cheng Wang were murdered in their Diamond Bar home on October 20. Although investigators have no “viable clues,” they have reason to believe the murderer robbed the couple of about $15,000 before fleeing the scene.
Supervisor Janice Hahn urged anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
“If you have any information pertaining to the murder of Marian and David, I urge you to come forward,” said Supervisor Hahn. “They deserve justice. Their children and grandchildren deserve answers.”
Anyone with information related to the murder should call sheriff’s homicide Detectives Margarita Barron or Dameron Peyton at (323) 890-5500.
