A former prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney, Dana tried both juveniles and adults for both misdemeanors and felonies. She worked closely with the federal agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration during her time at the Major Narcotics Division.
Before her tenure at the District Attorney’s Office, she served as a contract attorney for the Office of Independent Review, a civilian oversight body tasked with overseeing Los Angeles Sheriff’s and the Office of the Independent Monitor, a civilian oversight body embedded in LA County Probation.
She is conversant in Thai, Spanish and French.
